FIRST AID CPR AED TRAINING
American Red Cross First Aid CPR AED Adult Training Course Description:
The American Red Cross First Aid CPR AED Adult Training course is a comprehensive program designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively to adult medical emergencies, including cardiac arrest, choking, and injuries. (accepted by osha)
Participants will learn the latest techniques in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including chest compressions and rescue breaths, as well as how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) to restore normal heart rhythm in cases of sudden cardiac arrest.
In addition to CPR and AED training, participants will receive instruction in first aid techniques to address common injuries and medical emergencies encountered in adult populations. Topics covered include assessing the scene and victim, treating wounds and bleeding, managing shock, recognizing signs of stroke and heart attack, and responding to breathing and respiratory emergencies.
Through hands-on practice sessions, interactive demonstrations, and scenario-based exercises, participants will gain confidence in their ability to recognize and respond to medical emergencies effectively. Our certified instructors will provide guidance and feedback to ensure that participants are proficient in performing CPR, using an AED, and administering first aid according to American Red Cross guidelines.
This course is suitable for workplace responders, healthcare professionals, lifeguards, teachers, coaches, and anyone interested in learning life-saving skills for adult emergencies. Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive certification from the American Red Cross, valid for two years, demonstrating their proficiency in first aid, CPR, and AED use for adult populations.
